202R - Encore 202R Symphonic Series Mallets feature 1 1/8" Hard Plastic Bright Heads and Rattan Handles. The Hard plastic used in these mallets offers a full bodied tone with slightly less attack than phenolic.

203R - Encore 203R Symphonic Series Mallets feature 1 1/8" Phenolic Brassy Heads and Rattan Handles. Phenolic mallets are the hardest of the plastics used in xylophone mallets offering a fast attack and edge.

204R - Encore 204R Symphonic Series Mallets feature 1" Poly Warm Heads and Rattan Handles. Poly is a hard plastic that delivers a fast attack and edge but slightly less than the phenolic.
